The cost of a report varies with the complexity of the client’s condition and the complexity of the questions to be answered. Reports’ costs have ranged from about £1,500-£7,500, the latter with severe brain-injury and a very thorough assessment and difficult differential diagnosis required. An estimate is provided when required and, should there be cost-overruns due to unanticipated complexity, this is addressed prior to the initial estimate being exceeded.
